Oslo, Norway. Monday February 16th. 2009 The board are pleased to announce that vPos Ltd has engaged Mr. Jan Otto Reimers as our new Managing Director. Mr Reimers will begin in vPos immediately, and shall continue the work with our new "Zero Niner" technology suite together with our suppliers and partners. In adition to the GPRS based vPtracker, "Zero Niner" will include both Windows Mobile operated trackers and Satellite based trackers with impressive low price traffic rates for full 3D animation using the Silent Wings Viewer. |

vPweb upgraded with vPmap
vPmap is a new service at the vPweb. You will find it under 'All Users' -> Competiton -> Map. Here is a link to a page that explains how to use the vPmap page. vPcompetititon used at Hahnweide Gliding Grand Prix 19-26 August 20 vPtrackers are now in use at Hahnweide for the Gliding Grand Prix there. Particulary popular is the vPmap part of the vPweb service. |

vPcompetititon at the 29th FAI Multiclass World Gliding Championship 24 vPtrackers are now in use in Eskilstuna making realtime tracking and resultservice available to the public. A demo version of the Silent Wings Viewer (full verswion but limited for use with vPcompetition at the Worlds) can be downloaded from www.silentwings.no, and a vPos user id acquired from www.vpos.no. Have fun! |

vPcompetititon at the Swiss Nationals 24 vPtrackers where used at the Swiss Nationals in Bern - Belp May 18th to 28th. The interest from the public was huge resulting in the vPserver beeing exhausted. Perfomance monitoring and tuning and is required before the 29th FAI Multiclass World Gliding Chamnpionship. |

February 2006 Introducing vPcompetititon
A set of trackers can now be rented by competion organisers for a given time period. A special editon of The Silent Wings Viewer capable of displaying commercials for sponsors can also be provided. Introducing vPweb The vPos server has now got a new web-interface to allow the user of vPtrackers to administer access to the data sent from the vPtracker to the vPserver.
A user of the vPweb will have a vPsubscription. The vPsubscription has four different categories: - Viewer
- Tracker
- Contest
- Site
Introducing vPforum We have now added a forum to the web-pages, to allow for anyone who is interested in the vPos system to post comments / questions or answers. The forum will be watched by vPos staff, and where appropriate, we will attempt to answer questions. |
