vPos is presenting a new range of products within 3D tracking and visualisation of air sports. It all started with gliders during the Club Class World Gliding Championships at Elverum, Norway in 2004, and will be introduced to the other air sports during 2006.

A small and ligthweight tracking unit, called vPtracker, specially designed for airsports, is carried on-board the glider, balloon, hangglider, paraglider or powered aircraft. The vPtracker transmits 3-dimensional position data to the vPserver which can be accessed from any PC connected to the Internet. The SilentWings Viewer application running on a PC with a suitable graphics card accesses the vPserver and visualises the flight in real-time or post-time.

The vPos system has been demonstrated at several international glider competitions during 2004 and 2005, and vPtrackers will be available for purchase in april 2006.

Your current web browser must be updated to version 7 of Internet Explorer (IE7) to take advantage of all of template's capabilities.

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
